Food Safety Training |

The owners of food
businesses are responsible for ensuring that staff who handle food or
who supervise this work have the skills and knowledge they need to
handle food safely.
Formal training is not required and businesses can choose the approach
that best suits their needs. However, should businesses wish to organise
formal training there are many food safety and hygiene courses available
at varying costs. Some are offered during the evening. To see what training courses are available in your area, check the Yellow Pages under 'Training'. For further advice on courses that may be available, you could also:
