Management of potential Rabies/Australian Bat Lyssavirus exposure

The Communicable Disease Control Branch (CDCB) SA Health, manages the distribution and surveillance of Rabies Human Immunoglobulin and Rabies vaccine in South Australia for potential exposure to Rabies or Australian Bat Lyssavirus.

Prophylaxis should be commenced as soon as possible after exposure.
