What are the
eat well be active (ewba) Community Programs?

The eat well be active Community Programs aim to contribute to healthy weight in children, young people (0-18 years) and their families through promoting healthy eating and physical activity. The Programs work in partnership with a variety of sectors such as health, education, welfare, neighbourhoods and food supply by addressing both environmental and individual barriers to healthy eating and physical activity.
The initiatives are based in two communities:

  • Morphett Vale (southern metropolitan SA, population 34,000)

  • Murray Bridge (rural SA, population 18,000)
